1989 Marathon - trouble with throttle linkage
Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping someone knows this off the top of their head. I have my Marathon "mostly" running. It has a 244cc Robin engine. Clutch is fine, I got fuel pumping (factory oiler is bypassed), etc. The linkage between the throttle and governor is missing a connection and I think I may have ordered the wrong parts. Does any know by seeing the pics? This is the overall accelerator: throttle2.JPG This is the part I found, links the accelerator and governor part.jpg This is the diagram I'm working from accelerator diagram.jpg Thanks in advance, if anyone knows. -Bill |

Re: 1989 Marathon - trouble with throttle linkage
the part you need can likely be made from parts from the hardware store. Get some all thread and some eyelets for the ends.... trim to fit and boom you got it.
