Air filter swap from stock to pod style
Hey guys/gals i am wanting to remove the factory air filter houseing on my 89 ezgo will it have any affect on the motor if i just run a small pod style right off the carb or possibly on a short pipe with a 90° to lift it a bit. Would like to use that space so i can install a fullsize battery instead of the little lawn mower battery it comes with.
Thanks Waylon |

As with any engine, it depends. Probably not but you may need to open the mixture screw to richen things up a little. I'd plan on readjusting things afterwards if i were you.
