1993 marathon parts diagram (starter belt)
I searched and it led me to a thread with some information and manuals but nothing specifically on 1993. I am just curious if I am using the correct belt on my 1993 four stroke 295 marathon
The belt currently on my cart (that had plenty of room, had to adjust it a little bit after putting it on, as i expect a belt should be on this thing) is an EZGO belt 16548 - G1 I made the mistake of ordering a belt on ebay for a 1993 two stroke. It was way too small. So realizing my mistake I ordered another "OEM replacement" on ebay for the part number 16548-G1. When I went to put it on today it was a lot closer when held up side by side but when i put it on I could barely get the starter moved back enough to put the adjustment bolt / fork /rod (whateveryou call it) back in. I had to pry the starter 1/4" forward to get the pin into the end of the fork and through the starter. It fits, but is much tighter than my original belt (obviously). So I am curious if I am starting with the right part number to begin with, or maybe I should quit buying belts off of ebay and expecting good results? does everyone recommend just buying ezgo belts? will the belt I have on eventually stretch? |
