Default g29 no speed

First off thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

I have a 13 G29 that is no longer going as fast as it use to.

mods are as follows
XCT48400YDRE controller
a 500a controller
3" jakes spindle lift
20" tires
6 month old batteries

The cart ran fine the last time I used it, but now it maxes out at 5mph, post controller install it would go around 20-23mph. it still has all of the low end torque that is use to but it just does not go as fast as it use to.

according to the volt gauge I am fully charged.

I checked to make sure all of the connections are clean and tight and that is not the issue.

any help would be appreciated.

ciao

Ok so I found my problem.

There is a small 3 wire triangle plug that was not fully seated. The wire goes from the motor to I think the controller. Since installing the lift, I guess it is now to short. My question is do they make an extension for this harness or do I have to cut the wires and extend them myself?

Ciao

That's tach sensor wire. I don't know of any extension cord for it.

You can cut & splice to make wires longer ( that's what I'd do). I suggest soldering the connections & heat shrink to seal it up.
