Default Heat sink for HEI upgrade

I was looking around my shed for aluminum when I remembered I had an old desktop computer. The processor has the perfect heat sink for this project. I mounted it where the old oil injection tank was.

Looks nice.

The fan is usually not really needed but a nice touch.
Instead you could mount the whole unit near the intake of the cooling fan.
Then there is only one wire going to the engine ignition other then the starter gen wires.

Another way is to route the air filter intake in front of it. Millions of Chrysler kcar had the ignition cooled by the intake air.

I'm trying to get this cart running again. I just picked it up for $100. It has been sitting for a very long time. I got it running for just a little bit then the crank seals went. I know because when I made a flywheel puller and got that off, the seal was actually blown out. Now i'm waiting on parts.

I love that overkill. Even without the fan, that's about 5x the cooling it would have gotten in a car distributor.
