Need opinions and info on Yamaha cart...
Considering buying the cart below. All I know is it's a 2014 Yamaha 48v with Trojan batteries from December 2016. Not sure of model, etc. I think I can get it for around $2800. Any opinions and info are appreciated. I currently have an 05 EZGO Series 36v. I would sell it for this one if it's worth it. Please share thoughts.

Re: Need opinions and info on Yamaha cart...
I'm new to carts, but recently picked up the same cart a couple of years older.
I've been pleased with it so far. It was on the slow side so I upgraded the controller, and I bought the street legal light kit from Amazon and put on over the weekend. I changed out the batteries and went to six 8 volts. So far it has been easy to work on and performs well Cory |

Seems like a good deal, just make sure it’s not rusted out, and everything works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Also, I see it’s a 2013, not 2014, if that really matters- it just makes the batteries 4 years old if they’re original, so remember that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Need opinions and info on Yamaha cart...
I think that is a good deal. Recheck stamped battery code to confirm the date of them. You will most likely want to upgrade to an Alltrax 48400 and soon after an upgraded motor. Solid cart. You should have no suspension issues, very solid. One thing to do is change the transaxle gear oil. Replace with Yamalube Friction Modified Gear Oil. It will take 1.5qts. This is for your internal brakes. Very good cart for a lithium pack upgrade as well. I have done three of them in the G29.

Re: Need opinions and info on Yamaha cart...
The production date lags the model year by 1. All 2014 model year carts were produced in '13.
