vin and model
a friend of mine bought a 2007 Yamaha
can anybody tell me what model Yamaha it is by the serial number JW2-F4236-10 thanks for the help Charlie |

The info I've got doesn't support that letter "F" as a possible 4th digit, but the "JW2" makes it a Yamaha Drive (G-29) Electric.

Follow the drains from the roof down into the under-seat area. There you will find a sticker with a barcode and a serial number. I agree, you have a "JW2" Drive electric. The number you provided is just a part number for a sticker, a Yamaha serial number will be formatted as such (JW2-######), with all 6 characters after the dash being only numbers. If it is a 2007, the first number after the dash will be a zero, 2008 being a "1", 2009 being a "2".
