Default Ignition coil for 2007 g29

Hello Everyone,

I'm pretty sure I have a bad coil on my 2007 G29. I tried to buy one online, but they only show up to G22's. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? Thanks in advance for your help!

Buy only the real Yamaha one in the bag with a Yamaha part number. The cheap China ones are known garbage.

Thanks! I bought a Yamaha tci with a new spark plug tip and boot. Do you know how the tip attaches? It looks like it just screws on but I'm wondering how the wire itself makes contact with the tip i bought.

Yes it screws in. The coil wire is inside the rubber shielding. The TCI should also be installed with an "air gap". A thin piece of cardboard or a match boox cover works well.

Do I have to strip the sheilding back to expose the wire?
