It's a 1.5" in/out and has a couple positive reviews. Any idea which would be better/worse?

I need and exhaust-line that extends the outlet to somewhere behind the buggy. Can I just get pipe or something?
The one that fits in your space is the right one. The shape of the can , clocking and diameter of the inlet and outlet seems most of the variation. The techs at Walker would be the best to answer if the QuietFlow or some other line would best suit your needs for flow and sound characteristics. In my situation, it was “what fit in the space”
Local auto parts had some of the bits, pipe, clamps, etc. and Speedway Motors helped a lot -

The muffler I used is a side inlet, rear outlet. The flex pipe fits over the side inlet pipe. The rear outlet pipe now has a turndown tailpipe that goes below the bagwell framing. The framing you see is just the bagwell steel angle, the muffler is sitting on the framing, and is now held down with metal strap. I'm sorry I don't have a more recent pic. This pic is when I just welded up the headers and fit the exhaust up.

Stanley Muffler IH-20
Here are the specs. It's a smaller pipe at 1.325" diameter. $45

Also look at Thermo King APU mufflers #TK-1 $65
These are the mufflers used on semi truck generators, very quiet. This one has a 1.5" diameter pipe.

I got mine at Tractor Supply, but they don't seem to carry it anymore. Rural King has it. Seems like I paid $35, looks like price went up.

No help on the muffler, but I'd suggest getting rid of the white "torque" spring in the secondary.

Good catch! Yeah I've tried that spring, awful performance. At the very least he needs to call Plowman's and get a spring from him.

With the 670 IMHO the best spring would probably the stock unit set on B 1. That is how my G 14 VC 460 is set up.

Yep. The stock OEM spring is all you need with a big block...

Just to put a period on the thread, I ended up going with this muffler/silencer:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RBWMQ3J

My review of it is...it's good enough. Still decently loud. I'd say it took it from a 10 to a 7.

Before, the backfire when I let off the gas (and slowed down) was very loud, and people that were half a block up the street walking would turn around and look at me. Now they don't turn to look until I'm passing.

I'm confused on the white-spring comment, but I think that was for another poster.

Thanks for all the advice!

You might want to support the muffler somehow off the engine cradle.
