Yamaha G1 engine numbers. What year?
I have a gas g1 that I'm gradually putting back together. I bought the cart cheap, not running. I can't read the numbers on the frame by the bumper. I see j10 on the rubber carb boot. I also see j1000 and 215cc on the jug, driver side. S215-032345 is stamped on top of the engine on the passenger side. Any help on what year this is is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Early G1's had the serial number stamped on the main frame rail between were the upper rear shock mounts are located. Does your car have steel inner rear fenders? Can you post a picture of the engine compartment?

It doesn't have steel inner fenders. Now I need a fuel pump, which I found an OEM for $68 including shipping.
