1993 JF2/G8 Not Running
Having an issue that i can't quite nail down with my 93 G8. Ran fine yesterday, up until I teed off on the first hole. Got back in to go to my ball and nothing. No sputter, no chug, no noise other than the pedal clicking. The back up horn wouldn't even sound when put in reverse. tightened and cleaned the battery connections, did a voltage check on the battery and all good. Towed it home and started pulling wire
I pulled the key ignition, cleaned the wiring up, replaced some bad sections of wire and was able to get the back up horn to work, and for a brief 30 seconds, got the cart up and running. But once i let up on the pedal, it went back to the same dead state as before. Looking for some guidance as to where i should begin to look, what i should start replacing, and if anyone else has had these issues before. My gut is telling me its either a bad ignition or a bad pedal switch. Thanks, Chad |
