Talking Ticking noise in rear G29

Have a 2013 Yamaha G29 gasser. Just started making a ticking noise when I take my foot off the gas, goes away when I step on it. No issues when driving in forward i or reverse. No slipping. Going to pull the belt and make sure it's not the motor. Thinking it might be the the primary or secondary clutches. Any body have any thoughts!! Thanks dilly dilly!!!

Sounds like you're right on track with looking at the clutches. That's where I'd look first. dilly dilly!

Is the ticking noise steady, like it occurs at the rate of engine RPM or cart speed, or is it more random? If it tracks with cart speed, I'd look at secondary clutch and rear. If it tracks engine RPM, check primary. If it's random, it could be a broken weld in the muffler.
