Default Correct year for G!

I have yet been able to find any identifying numbers anywhere on my G1. I have checked every place mentioned. I have used wire brushes, wire wheels, magnification, and can find no serial / model #. IMG_5558.jpg I am guessing this G1 is 79-81 ?? but would like to know for sure. Does the engine # offer any clue? J1000 215 cc. . are there any other parts I could post a picture of that would help determine age? I need to make sure I purchase the correct parts. Apparently 1982 models are different.

Default Re: Correct year for G!

The engine numbers might tell you the year the engine was made, but it could have been swapped at some point. With an old cart it happens a lot.

There are only a few details that are different on the G1 cart. If you can't figure out the exact year, don't fret. You can still post pics of most items you need to work on to figure out what you need.
