Swapping bodies
Stupid question... are the bodies (both the front and main colored portions) able to be swapped from electric to gas and vice versa? I have a 2018 PTV gas and will possibly be needing to switch to an electric version if I move to a different course. There is a 2018 electric available near me but I don’t like the color. Figured I’d but the electric one and swap the bodies before selling the gas one.

Re: Swapping bodies
As long as it is the same model and the electric has the hole for the shifter lever should be good. A Yamaha expert should be along shortly.

Re: Swapping bodies
Yes, they will interchange. Will probably have to cut out the hole for the charge port & add the guide cover for the charger handle to slide through.
When it comes time to do the swap, your gonna love it. Each piece is modular & it's the easiest body swap ever on a golf cart. |
