Default Yamaha g2 wiring help

I picked up an old g2 that has a small electrical fire in the wiring by the solenoid. I looking for any info that will help me track down why im not getting spark and also how to find the wire that activates the solenoid via the gas pedal. If there is a guru here im happy to pay you for your time via venmo or cashapp! My daughter asks if its fixed everyday lol. Thanks!

Wiring is one of those things that you either know what you're doing, or you'll make the problem worse. If the harness is just burned up on a short section, you can take one wire out at a time and solder in a new section. Just do one at a time. All the wires are different colors, so you have to trace the colored sections down. If there isn't anything left....you need a new harness.

If you're not a wiring person, this is probably your best bet!

Ok ive rewired the harness all the way from regulator to ignitor, stator and coil. Is there a way to check for a bad ignitor?
