I’m lucky enough to be about 40 minutes from Don’s shop so I dropped my G16 off to him for a total engine makover. The difference is dramatic. I off-road my cart constantly now and enjoy every minute. It tops out at 28-29 mph and has tons of torque. I’ve already pulled my dads boat with it and moved a travel trailer with it in the driveway too.

BEEEEG pics lol.

Anyway...update...got a hold of Don and pulled my valve cover off to lash the valves and the gasket came out in 4 pieces lol. Soooo, that's going to be a problem. He was great though, dropped one in the mail for me today.

Valves are lashed appropriately, just need to get the gasket and replace the cover and everything so we can finish the tuning process. It's always something

Tuning is not a quick easy process, unfortunately, at least not to get it right. Don will get you squared away.

Got my gasket today and called Don to finish tuning. I’m shocked. This thing is a real joy to drive now. Don was patient with me through the tuning process...if I can do it, I think anyone can. Can’t say much more than has already been said about Don’s attention to detail and willingness to answer questions and help.
