I found out my new factory controller is bad and going to send it back When I sent my old one back to get it remanufactured they determined old one was damaged from acid over the years and nonreparable. I also troubleshooted the solenoids thanks to information found on this site from you guys and determined the forward reverse solenoid is bad. Have one ordered from Revolution Golf Carts. David the owner is great guy who also helped me figuring this out. After getting wiring diagrams and troubleshooting cut sheets from you guys it was pretty simple. Thanks to everyone. Bill

New controller bad? What a bummer....let us know how it goes when the new one comes in. Seems odd to get a new controller and it's bad.

Bill, here is how I wired the upgrade to the SW202 reversing contactor and the SW200. You probably can do this several different ways, but this is how I wired it (and it works) Hope this helps

Hi Bama Brad, Thanks for the wiring diagram. I got it up and running and was thinking about replacing the SW200 also and see that you have a resistor and what appears to be a fuseable link. Are those two items required if I switch over to the SW200? I am not modifing anything else or making any other changes. If so what size or model numbers are they? I just don't see them on the original installation and was wondering if the are needed? Thanks Bill

I guess the better question is what size ohm rating for resistor is needed for 64 volt system SW200 400 amp solenoid? Thanks Bill

The resistor came with the SW200 and I think it is needed. I put the fuse on it for safety sake. I'm not sure if 64 volts makes any difference, mine is 48v. Maybe someone that knows will comment.

My controller is FSIP. I called them today and they told me it's either a 1000k or 2000k ohm resistor for 64 volt system but not sure. Someone is supposed to call me back with the size they recommend. I will let you know what they recommend when I get a call back.

I went ahead and put 700 ohm resistor on the machine. I was told by another member on here Dave Hicks that anything from 700 to 1000 ohms would work. FSIP recommended a 250 ohm and again from what I was told that was way to low. I appreciate the help. This forum is great.
