G22 backfire
Update on g22 backfire. Thanks for all the input. The throttle plate is closed. But there seems to be a lot of slack in throttle cable as the butterfly doesn't move when you press the accelerator pedal. You can push the pedal almost to the floor before the butterfly opens. Also, it sneezes through the carburetor when it stops turning over. In others it blows air out the carb when you let off the pedal and the engine winds down to stop and right at the end it blows air out. Could this be a valve adjustment issue ? Ok adjusted carb and seems to being better and with new tci it starts better but still a lot of travel in pedal before acceleration. I have looked for adjustment but not finding what I need.
