Have a Yamaha G9 and the clutch on the motor can be pushed in and pulled back out and I don’t think this is normal, what can be my issue so I can get it fixed thanks

Primary or secondary clutch?

If I recall correctly the primary clutch does slide freely, it does not had a spring to push it open like club car or ezgo does.

There is a zirc fitting on the outside of it. Only one pump of grease is all it takes, otherwise no maintenance to perform.

I would spin it around by hand and look for dents in the cover that come from the inside going outward (“dent” is actually a “bump”). If there are any, it usually indicates a broken flyweight inside the clutch.
