87 CC will not start...
it has the 1991 motor in it.
I have spark, tested with extra spark plug as i cant find my spark plug socket to take out existing one. Have fuel, its misting out of carb when i take the air hose off. I am getting a pretty good amount of pressures out of the intake side of the carb. So im wondering why there is no fire in the chamber... |

Im thinking i need to pull the spark plug out and put a different one in. That is the one thing i have not done yet.

Yep, low voltage to the coil from the no charging issue will cause weak/intermittent spark until it fouls from a weak spark/rich condition.
Swap the plug and you should be good to go! |
