Headlight bulbs for my Club Car
Wanting to change to a different bulb.
9005/9006 type bulbs Havent tried fitting one in the housings. my truck uses 9005s and 9006s so i am familiar on what they look like. Im pretty sure they are different. I know the plug is different, because ive tried plugging in a 9005, and no go. So, does anyone know if i can unplug the sockets for my stock bulbs, and plug in 2 sockets for 2 9005 or 2 9006 bulbs and be able to run the other bulbs successfully? Im planning on making a trip to the junkyard with a pair of dykes to snag a couple pairs of light bulb sockets off a couple vehicles to play with. Anyone have experience with running bulbs other then the stock bulbs in there club car? Thanks -Sean |

Didnt mean to come off in a harsh way or anything.
My car is a 2010, the stock headlights are still there and still work fine. Im just wanting to go brighter. Nothing wrong with that is there? |

Relax, take a deep breath, I was just asking a simple question.
Your first post says nothing about wanting brighter light, it says you want to go to a different bulb. |

Re: Headlight bulbs for my Club Car
Ok, what would a 9005 or a 9006 bulb supply over the stock bulbs?

Re: Headlight bulbs for my Club Car
Take a bulb out and run it over to an auto parts store to see what they have available
Just don't touch the glass part with your fingers - cuz that will cause them to blow ASAP as soon as you apply voltage to them... |

Re: Headlight bulbs for my Club Car
Yeah that will work i know, i was just wanting to know if anyone else has tried to swap before.
In order to run a 9005 or a 9006 im going to have to trim the headlight housing and or the housing on the bulb also, not a big deal. Was just looking for info from others who may have ran different bulbs over stock in there club car. |
