pics of 272 carryall rear
This is another one of the projects on my to do list. I have had this 272 rear brand new center section and some used 272 axle assemblies. I figured i'd dig em out and get a list of parts together to get ready to set it up in the cart. Hopefully the rear and a brigs 18 will be going in the cart here in the next month or so. Just need to get some free time.
I know there has been a bunch of treads talking about the locker feature of this rear and some people have asked for pictures. The 272 rear is 6.75" wider than the regular rear. I bought some leaf spring pads that i need to weld since the 272 springs are set wider. Here are some pics that compare the length to a normal older style club car rear. |

Re: pics of 272 carryall rear
I have had the full 272 front suspesion bolted up to my cart for a while now. The rear has 2" aluminum spacers. When I put the 272 rear in I'll just leave out the spacers. That way it will only be a little wider than it is now and will now line up with the fronts.
