Default What engine is in my Club Car?

What size engine is found in a '92 Club Car DS? I don't see any tags or stickers, anything.

I just found this info on Wikipedia. A Kawasaki FZ340 9 horsepower engine was used until 1991 and in 1992, this was replaced with a Kawasaki 286 cc FE290 9 horsepower engine.

Then FZ340 / KF82 is a flathead engine,
and the FE290 is a "slant" cylinder with an "OHV" on the valve cover.

hope this helps a little!

Thanks Don, I have the "slant" cylinder with an "OHV" on the valve cover. It must be the FE 290. Everything looks stock.

the only "tag" on the motor is at the bottom of the block next to one of the oil drain plug should read fe290
