Default Chance to buy Melex

I have a shot at a Melex golf cart that is in really nice shape. 2 year old Trojans, folding windshield, lights mirror new tires rear folding seat and really nice paint. I can get it for $1700. Is that a good price or just another headache coming my way? The cart really looks good.

Most parts on my Melex 512E are standard. ie Dana rear axle. G.E. Motor, controller F/R switch common with many others. Mine is a project car and has a long way to go.

Please stay away from a Melex golf car as they have not made them since 1998. you cant even get a key for them. they are bad news and you will surely be screwed.
