another starting problem
Just remembered this. When I go to start my cart it sort of want to start but I can like hear the belt spinning like it was slipping. Is there an adjustment to the starter belt and if so how and where do I do this as I have never even looked at a cart before I purchased this one so I am DUMB. Guess I have to start some where.

Re: another starting problem
Yes, it adjusts just like an automotive alternator does,
It has a slide bracket, and stationary bolt mounts, but, I'd suggest replacing the belt before adjusting the old one! |

Re: another starting problem
I concur with Lockman. I just replaced mine due to similar issues. $7.50 and two minutes is a lot less hassle than trying to be an Octopus adjusting the old worn belt. The genius that designed the adjustment on that S/G was quite clearly a sadist.
