Default Gas cc will not do anything until i jumpier across solenoid

Sat for about three years. Got it home. Got it running. Ran fine for about an hour. Went to go drive it for the first time, went two feet and stoped. Now cant get it to do anything unless i jumpier across the solenoid, and that just turn the motor over. The micro switch's all click. Replaced the solenoid with one from a auto parts house( which i was told would not work ). I dont know

You can use a voltmeter or test light to diagnose the solenoid activation circuit or just replace it with the OEM solenoid.

just because the micros click dosent mean they are working! just like a rifle, you can get a bang with no kick! this means the bullet will get hit by the firing pin, but the bullet will not exit the casing! get a volt meter and set it to a contunity or diode test or a beep test. test with one lead one each connector. red on one, black on one. squeeze each micro. if it does the oppitite of when yo started, beep, or no beep its can be assumed a good switch. if it stays the same, assume bad switch.
all the soloiud is a heavy duty switch. that has to be energised to work. if its not receiveing the signal it will do whta is told...nothing!
like it was brought up in your previous post.

Glad you got it running

But you lost me on this, was getting to many different answers on it ? the only thing I see talked about in this thread is the switches and the solenoid, and you say the switches were the problem
