No the 9" disc brakes are available in the hydraulic brakes only... You should realize there is a significant difference in improved braking power between the cable and the hydraulic brakes.

The 2 wheel cable brakes claim a 20% improvement over stock.
The 2 wheel Hydraulic is 150% increased braking power and the 4 wheel set is a 300+% improvement over stock braking power. Increases are greater with the 9" discs.

Scotty, can you send me a rear caliper bracket? I will take pix's and measurements to alow these killer brakes to work on the earlier Yamaha axle/axle tube assy's.

Oh boy. Not sure how I have missed this thread. I am currently shopping for disk brakes and Google leads me to my most visited site and shows me this! I have an older G2 and am more than willing to test these out. 4 wheel hydraulic brakes sound perfect for my area. Who needs what info and who wants my kidney. I mean money.
