Speed of cart
I have a cub car....cant remember the year 90s i think.anyway,,the batteries are about 5 years old when i got it this year,,,Question is...it has a lift kit on it,,wide tires...top,,Back seat with the feet rest,,Just don't have much power..on level or hills...the pedel goes about half way down before it takes off..I did adjust it to catch alittle earlier..But the speed did not pick up...is it the Batteries,,or something else......its 48V too,,,thanks

start by checking the batteries and cables......take voltage readings and than load test and SG readings with hydrometer.......you can if nothing else eliminate them as problem....but knowing the year and model will help greatly also and lastly if the pedal isn,t moving the cart in the 1st 1/2 inch of travel that would be a possible concern also............................
