Default Distance in a 36v resistor cart?

I've got a course about 4.1 miles from my house and found out recently that it's much cheaper to use my cart there as they require no yearly green fees, like my closest course does.

It's a 1980ish Yamaha G1 Electric. 6 brand new batteries from Costco. It does around 12-13mph on flat ground.

Assuming flat-ish terrain, could I get the 8.2 miles round trip and 18 holes of golf, or will that be pushing my luck?

That's pushing it. The costco batteries are an unknown quantity of amp hours unless you have that info? Stock batteries would run the cart about 15miles but, lots of variables.Tire pressure, brake drag, windshield?
On a fresh charge, try 9 holes and see what your voltage drops to. Full charge is 38.2 and 50% depleted is at 36.3 volts. So with a good digital LED battery meter reading in 10ths ( go > http://cartsunlimited.net/Digital_Battery_Meters.html ) You will know if you can continue playing or go home

Thanks for the reply!

I'm fairly certain they are 220 -230 AH. Not sure how that factors in, but does that information help?

I'd like to see that in print. But if they are what you say, you should get 100 minutes of actual peddle time.
