Electric Yamaha ok for a utility cart?
I'm considering buying an elec yamaha cart. I live on 3 acres, and would use it to pull a small (very small, about the size of a wheel barrel) trailer to clean a horse pasture, as well as other small tasks.
Do these electric carts do well on small rolling hills? Nothing big. Don't know their torque levels. Below is a pic of the cart i'm looking at. |

Re: Electric Yamaha ok for a utility cart?
This will do what you need, but, if it is all stock except the lift kit, it aint gonna be no "hotrod". I see that its a 36v G14 or G16 (shifter handle is a clue). If you do buy it, and want more torque, a bigger motor controller will give it some more "oomph", but probably not much more top speed. Also, if you plan on pulling anything too heavy, or upgrading the controller, the F&R is a weak link. I retrofit an Ezgo HD F&R on these cars when upgrading them.
