That's not good... Anybody talk to a dealer to find out what this means for owners?

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy is "reorganization". When a company files for Chapter 11, it means they need help (from the court) (can't make their payments) but intend to stay in business.

Thanks renrod. I get what chapter 11 is. Maybe I should've phrased the question differently. Obviously the business plan they were following wasn't working. I wonder what will change with the new regime. My big concern obviously is will they continue to support the Emerge for parts and service?

Not a lot of information but it appears there is a legal action by Tomberlin against Pacific Cycle, Inc. that probably helping to cause the problem Chapter 11 can cut some slack for Tomberlin to resolve the other issue. My dealer doesn't seem to be worried but he might not know the whole story either. I have a great dealer with a top mechanic so see no reason not to hang in there. You will take a beating to try and sell now. Lets keep posting as new info. comes in. Tomberlin has a court date of Feb. 10th. to file their recovery plan, this should give something new.

They are still going strong they implemented a new parts program for dealers and if they don't have it they can direct you to a dealer that does
