Question Re: 2012 Tomberlin Emerge Speed Increase issue

Hello, I just purchased a used 2010 Tomberlin Emerge 48SS and I too am interested in a speed increase. Currently mine tops out at 20 and governs it there down hill as well. Once randomly it decided it would max me out at 25mph and every other time since its been only 20. I'd like to set it to 30mph. I know it will shorten battery duration a bit which I'm ok with because I never drive it very far in one use. Anyways, looking for the handheld Curtis controller programer that is $500. Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Default Re: 2012 Tomberlin Emerge Speed Increase issue

Scott, my dad just got a tomberlin and his has 2 speed settings. Turn the ignition key 1 click to go 25 (street) and 2 (all the way to right) to go 19 (golf course speed). Sounds like you might be turning all the way if it magically went 25 one day.

I got on here to search for any steering issues. The steering on my dads cart is very stiff. Is that normal? I haven't found anything yet. Will keep looking.

Thanks
