Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
I will verify that. I think there is only one sticker on it. That is why I am suspicious.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
they put them in the rear corners of the wheel wells. I think you have to buy their specific ones. I took mine off as soon as I got home. here is a pic of what they look like

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
Well I'm taking my cart to the dealer. They said I may have a faulty speed sensor or potentiometer. They said to bring it in and they would check it out. Wish me luck.
As far as not having the PTV label, they said they don't like to put it on the controller, because they tend to fall off. They put it in a file under the customers name. |

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
If i paid for a speed code, i would want at minimum, the number written on the controller. You paid for that code, why let that individual dealer be the "gate keeper" for a code you paid for. They get 2 stickers, one for your cart, one for their records.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
Good point, I didn't think of that. I will ask them for it.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
Well I got word from the dealer yesterday. It seems that for some odd reason the code did not take to the controller. I had that feeling. They are getting a new code from Yamaha, and will install that one. Hopefully get it back tonight.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
The new code worked. It should hit 20 now. I do see what you mean about the torque though. Slows down alot going up hills. The next thing on the list is a controller.
