2009 Club Car Batteries 48v
Hello all!
Newbie here... We just purchased a 2009 Club Car that doesn't have any batteries. It is a 48v and has a 12v inverter for lights. I have no idea what I need for batteries. The guy said 6 - 12v but others have told us 4 - 12v. Also, what series would I need? Does it matter what the cranking amps are? Thanks in advance for the help :) |

Re: 2009 Club Car Batteries 48v
You need 6 x 8v Golf cart batteries like these Trojans:
https://www.trojanbattery.com/market...ility-vehicle/If the battery lists "Cranking Amps" it is the wrong type, deep cycle batteries list "Amp-Hours" (AH). Inverters convert DC into AC (like 120Vac), You have a DC-DC converter/reducer that brings 30Vdc-60Vdc to 12Vdc. You probably got a Precedent model, the first 6 letter/numbers from the Serial Number will decode more information about what you have. Welcome to the site! |
