Default volage reducer on onward

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the specs for inbuilt reducer(48v-12v) on2020 club car onward?
is it 10 amp,20amp or 30 amp or something else? Also how can you measure amperage on a reducer?

Thanks

Since all the lights are LED, I would bet it's just a 10 amp.

HI jakesnake27,
well I am running a bazooka g2 sound bar with 15 amp fuse(inbuilt) and with all lights on and sound bar at full draw there is no issue, It must be more than 10 amps, no?

Are you asking how to determine how many amps the reducer is rated for? Without a part/model #, it's pretty difficult to say I imagine.

Ok, yes, if you're running all that then it is rated higher

Look underneath your cart and see for yourself. If memory serves me right one output is 15a the other is 25

Our 2003 had an OEM reducer and the amp output rating was printed on a sticker on the side of the unit, but it couldn't be read with it mounted in the frame rail.
