95 Series DS 48v Throttle input/controller output testing
Hey everyone. I have been searching the forums for a few days now to try and not clutter up the threads. A ton of good information but I couldn’t ever narrow down the actual testing procedure for testing Throttle Input and Controller Output. Or even testing if the controller is still working good. My only drivability issue currently is the uphill battle ( cart slows way down uphill). I Have a 95 DS with series motor. I have the procedure to check all my batteries (Found on forum) which I will do first. I’m just trying to get all my information before the weekend as I won’t have service at camp. I have the wiring diagram and manual for the cart. Looking to find out what color wires to test and/or what terminals to check. I posted the serial # and I have the original motor and Curtis PMC. Thanks for the help

Re: 95 Series DS 48v Throttle input/controller output testing
For the throttle, you can check the output on the wires that connect to the number 2 and 3 spade terminals on the controller. Put your DVM on ohms and attach a lead to each wire. You should see ~5000 ohms at zero throttle and ~0 ohms at full throttle. Test with the rear up on jack stands, keyswitch on, and cart in either F or R.
