97 ezgo will not move
have a 97 somebody put a bad wire on the f & r switch and burnt it I replaced the end and contacts in switch then I found the saft switch was bad I by passed it now relay clicks when I press pedal so I went to charge battery but charger fuse was blown and board looked bad where orange wire goes so I jumped the two black wires where it would charge they was over 40 volts when I tried again in r you hear the motor making a sound but wheels do not move and voltage drops some in f the relay clicks but no motor sound voltage barley moves I was checking voltage at relay I have it both side even when pedal was not pressed I didn't know if it was back feeding somewhere. On my f & R switch there are four cables two on rt post one on top and one on left but there is not one on the bottom does that sound right. what should I check next

Re: 97 ezgo will not move
We need to identify your cart first, is it a DCS or Series Cart?

Re: 97 ezgo will not move
That is either series or DCS (?), does the back side of the F&R look like a silver hockey puck? Is there a toggle switch on the controller cover?
PS the relay is a Solenoid. |

Re: 97 ezgo will not move
Sounds like a series cart. You need to fix the F&R cable locations and who knows what else? there is only one cable per F&R lug connection. Here is a diagram to check all the heavy cable locations.

Re: 97 ezgo will not move
Thanks. What about terminal c it shows one to motor and one to the controller. Right now mine has two on terminal B and nothing on A so I will trace them and put them where they belong. Thanks again I'll let you know what happens
