Default Eight 6V battery placement

Rather than to keep pestering one of our generous sponsors, I don't see how you could physically place eight - 6Volt batteries in an older Club Car. Do they all fit under the seat? It looks packed under there to me. Does anyone have a pic of the layout?

Guy in Fla was working on a battery rack configuration that did just that... but they had to cut the frame to do ... Not sure how they resolved that?

Where there is a will, there's a way.

This is my older Melex- the battery trays had to be fans and it required relocating the pot box, charger, and controller. It's tight but it works.

That's 3 in the back, 3 in the front, and 2 singles on either side. Hope this helps.

Should have said battery trays needed to be "fab'd" as in fabricated, not fans. Darn autocorrect.

Here is how I fit 8 6v in my '02 DS. Not sure if 2002 is 'old' enough to help.....

Here is how my Dad did his without modifying the frame. It is also a 2002 CC DS. I cannot find any finished pictures from a better angle, but it just looks like a compartment under the basket.
