Need guidance on suspension for electric cart
Hey
We have a family electric golf cart at our trailer park. The roads are filled with potholes and terrible. The cart we have is just a standard cart like at a golf course. We also have a few teenagers that drive it a little harder than it should be. Any suggestions on what we can do to it to make the ride smoother and deal with all the bumps better? |

Re: Need guidance on suspension for electric cart
A long travel front end lift kit will certainly help with the front suspension. Normal travel on factory carts is around 3" where a Long Travel Kit will get you 6" of travel. That, coupled with the decent shocks that come with a long travel kit will help.
For the rear end there are no (that I'm aware of) long travel kits out there. You need to make sure your springs are not to soft or hard, and have a good set of shocks to dampen the "hits". |

And if you haven't already, drop the tire pressure to 14 or 15 psi. This will help a lot with stock golf course tires. |
