Advise on ST

I just purchased a 05 ST sport 2+2 . Previous owner obviously had it on a farm and at some point they hit something . I have to replace the brush guard but the front end is ok . I am going to disassemble and repaint it . While I have it apart is ok to pressure wash the chassis and motor . The whole thing needs a total cleaning and I will probably repaint or detail the chassis . I will only be using it at the racetrack to haul my 7yr olds Jr dragster so I want it to look good . I can't stand dirty or trashy . Any advise on the cleaning as what not to get wet or whatever and any advise on the tear down and what to possibly look for and the do's and don'ts will be much appreciated . P.S. any body have ST parts for sale let me know . Thanks
