Default more cart problems

still struggling with my 93 gas club cart. This is what is happening. the push rod for the exhaust rod is popping out, it's not over reving everything else is tight. We have a friend who is a master mechanic we towed the cart 2 hours away. when the rod pops out of the rocker arm the cart looses compresiion. Does anyone know why? Please answer Amanda

by the way the engine pins, rings etc are all in great condition

I don't know the whole story but there is something faulty in the 92 and 93 club cars. I know its in the head, but don't know much more than that...
