Yep same here, been busy with the van trying to get the dash, doghouse and doors done before you get done, then it is all cart from that point.

Sadly it's a stocker. ewww
The original Tec 7 did the rod toss, so common, and the tuned-up 8 (+) I'd done up for it, had the wrong ring gear for the 120v starter, so I dropped the little Honda on. Fine in the lighter powder. A little EPA-lean and I didn't have fatter jets but it didn't miss a beat. I'll get around to the bigger Tec, pully it up 20% or so, then turn it slower for long life and lower noise, be able to crank it to 4k to get it launched when needed. It looks odd, the 1971 Ariens, with a modernish OHC engine, and the billet-rod Predator 212 I thought about installing is even wrong-er.

Sorry for sidetracking

Probably throws snow 200' at 8,000 rpm! Terry, what is your favorite 2 stroke oil? With the higher heat of the engine compartment just wondering your recomendation.

I'm a big fan of Maxima Super M, in premix or injection formulas, depending on which way you run (I prefer injection, as the Mikuni pump is a proven performer). These are still pretty low-stress applications and the fan does a decent job. I can send a bottle back with the engine (I'm set up as a dealer)

Now, if we were upping the compression farther, jetting way up for E85, and trimming fan blades and/or taping the fan intake, I'd go with Maxima K2 and pre-mix it.

I did, briefly, have an idea of running a cart engine on it, or one of my 7-8 2-stroke Lawn Boy or Robin Commercial mower engines, with Castor and race gas, so I'd smell nice after
