Johnny found the correct data sheet.
It looks like 12.80 is acceptable max charge - 2.46 per cell
You have to look at this system as 18 (not 36 cells) Because cells are cabled in pairs (parallel) and series. The amp hour ratting of 84 is low but doubled by the parallel wiring, it gives 168 amp hours. Still low for a golf cart. You will have to watch your pack voltage to see how long you can run before the pack settles at 50% depletion. (36.30 for 3/12v)

I had hoped their capacity was greater. I have two 12v AGM sealed batts for my trailer- their capacity is 140ah or 240ah in parallel. A battery like that would be equivalent to a very good GC 6v.

I think so. Check the charge and see what the highest voltage reading you can get ( near cut off). This voltage divided by 18 cells should be close to the 2.46 per volt suggested by the manufacture.

hey guys i have another question on this (6) 12 volt battery set up. The leads from the charger receptacle are not landed on the batteries. Instead the positive is landed on the battery side of the solenoid and the negative is landed on the b- of the speed controller. Is this ok?
