Default Controller

My Curtis controller doesn't say s-1 or m-1 on it,I got a new all track from Scotty so how do I know where the wires go, the Curtis also has 4 lugs and the alltrax only has three. Thanks guys!!

No Problem. Since you posted in Ezgo section about a 4 lug control it must be a series cart.
The new control is a more modern 3 lug unit. The extra lug which has been dropped is labeled A2.
Two cables go to control A2 terminal. 1 from the F&R switch and 1 from motor A2. Basically these 2 cables splice together and make one cable which bypasses the control and makes a run from Motor A2 to F&R without going to the 4th lug on the control. Questions?

Yes it is an ezgo the wiring is botched in this cart I'm gonna try to figure it out today! Thanks Scotty and you to yurtle! I know if I have problems you guys always help!

Scotty do I need to wire the spm 48500 like the book says? The controller that was in the cart wasn't wired that way. It's a 1998 ezgo txt series cart thanks. Or yurtle I know yurtle is up late thanks guys!!!!

YES YES YES> follow the cable diagram supplied by Alltrax for the SPM controller. ....... Take it one cable at a time. There are only subtle differences.

Scotty where does the cable from f/r switch in diagram does it go across m- or does it connect to m-, and then go to the pos or neg on selonoid? I'm an idiot at wiring I marked the cables but this cart has so many wires going everywhere? I got the spam 48500 from you just haven't had much time to work on it Thanks so muchhelp:
