97 TXT 36v Will not move
I have a 1997 TXT 36v with brand new batteries and cables. Solenoid clicks when key is turned on and reverse buzzer sounds when put in reverse. I was able to go forward about 30 feet (only slowly) and then it would not go any further. Cart had been sitting for approx. 2 years when I got it. I am handy with tools but electrical problems drive me crazy, any help and direction would be appreciated.

Re: 97 TXT 36v Will not move
first off.....you stated that you just got new batteries......just so ya know, you need to FULLY charge the batteries before using your cart. most battery suppliers don't fully charge the batteries and are usually at about 75%. For about the first 20 or so uses/cycles, don't allow the batteries to get below about 75%.
NOW.....seeing as how your solenoid "CLICKS", that circuit is working.....now you need to check the High Current (all the big cables) circuit. which drive system does your cart have?? ezgoguide.jpg |
