Txt drivers side lean
I have a txt that has the drivers side gangster lean. I replaced the rear and front springs with HD springs but still have the lean!! It's about 1" out of level. What else could it be? During the install I didn't notice any damage to any of the places where the springs mount. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Txt drivers side lean
Haha funny thing is it looks to be worse with the new springs! Thought about adding a 1" "block" to the drivers side rear lol

Re: Txt drivers side lean
You could take the springs off and compare side by side. See if there is a difference in spring arch. Make sure they have the same number of leaf's, etc.

They looked the same when I installed yesterday. All have the same number of leafs too.

Re: Txt drivers side lean
I think I found the problem but not sure of the solution just yet. Seems someone before me had backed into something with the rear seat that sticks out the back. I guess it bent he frame?? The leaf spring hanger on the drivers side is at more of an angle that the passengers side. Not sure why it keeps turning my pics sideways when I try to attach them here! You can see what I'm talking about when the cart is jacked up off the ground and it's the same on the ground too.

Re: Txt drivers side lean
Anyone ever cut the back hanger off and rewelded it? I just measured the center of the front leaf bolt to the top hanger mount bolt. Drivers side is right at 26" and passengers side is 26 3/4"

Re: Txt drivers side lean
Is that spring resting on something? Or is that your jack?

Re: Txt drivers side lean
Spring is not resting on anything. That's blocks of wood and my jack

Re: Txt drivers side lean
Well the mount length is your problem. If you can see down that frame rail you can probably see where it bent. There are many ways to bend it back that range from tying a chain to a tree and the upper mount and giving it a good rolling jerk to pulling the body and putting it in a frame straightener.. Results vary
