Default Does Quality Of Battery Lugs Matter

When I build stuff, I like to build the best. When I make cables I use USA made tinned cable, 4 AWG or larger, but have not given much thought to cable terminals, I do use tinned terminals and have used whatever was a good deal. All are soldered. There's been a lot of discussion about upgrading battery cables, but not what's on the end of the cables.
I've been using something like this:

Now I see these heavy duty lugs:

So that leads me to these questions.
Does the lug matter? Should I be using heavy duty lugs?

Absolutely! I have had some that are not pure and that were cheap and flemsy. I prefer bare copper myself unless in a marine application, but I always use Selterm. We even use them at work (industrial power plant). They are 99.9% pure seamless copper and have the flared ends too. They are easier to push the cable into with out fraying the ends.

IMHO .. pure copper lugs are better than tinned lugs

in support of my option

these come with slug to solder them in

if you use a terminal protector they will not corrode

And I just clicked your ebay link. Those are not good at all, plus they have open terminal ends which you never want around golf cart batteries... j/s
