Re: Charging Issue
I just learned something new then. There's some 13s here at a local golf course with the ERIC system on them. They were used as test cars for their prototype. I guess we're gonna just have to go by serial number from here on out.

Re: Charging Issue
We talked about this earlier, the S/N prefix change makes it easier to identidy the ERIC models:

Take the seat off and look at the back of the Battery cage on the drivers side. If you see a little box with the main negative cable coming out, that is the OBC. If there isn’t a box with a cable coming out, then you don’t have an OBC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Charging Issue
Thanks for all the info. I got the charger when I purchased the cart last year at this time. I assumed it was matched to the cart. I do see the negative coming out of a small gray box right next to the tow/run switch on the larger overall controller cover plate. Do I have the charger for this setup?

Re: Charging Issue
You should have a powerdrive charger.
It will have an ammeter on front panel' ERIC charger do not have an ammeter and it lightweight. You charger should be kinda heavy, maybe 10 lbs. |

Re: Charging Issue
Thanks, that is what I have. I will take the cart and charger in to the dealer. Hopefully the issue is covered under my warranty.

Re: Charging Issue
Cart service has tested the cart and ruled out issues with the charger and OBC. Both were replaced and there is still an issue. They said there are multiple bad cells in the pack, but they can't identify which specific battery is bad. Does this make sense? Recommendation is to replace the entire battery pack. Adding that the batteries are March 2015

Re: Charging Issue
Yea
One or more bad batt could cause it & It’s better to replace the whole pack than one or 2 batts But That a cart tech can’t identify the bad batt/(s) ?? Maybe didn’t have time to test each batt. What’s the battery pack history ? Battery brand , model, type |

Re: Charging Issue
Here is the latest. PD+ batteries, dated March 2015 on a 2014 Precedent. 9 of 24 cells bad. I am really bummed here. I religiously maintain the batteries checking them every month. The cart is on the charger when it is not running. Maybe the batteries were not maintained properly before I got it (1 yr ago). Not sure what else I can do.

real bummer about all you can do is get a new set. Plus side; the new set will get good maintenance & last a lot longer, had same issue when I bought my cart ( slightly older batts) Got new set of trojan T -875, Dec 16 Now I know their history & they get check/maintained regularly |
