solenoid click on and off
Have a 2004 CC Ds 48 volt acc part way down solenoid clicks on and off very fast when acc is down to floor it dosn't click tried another sol same thing test with a volt meter am loosing voltage due to white and blue wire losing contact can anyone help me would like to know what activates the blue and white wire Thanks note cart dosnt do anything during all the clicking

Do you mean the Blue w/White stripe wire on the small contact of your solenoid? If so, that comes from your controller. It supplies the 48v Neg.

Sounds like a battery problem. What is the pack voltage at a standstill and what is the pack dropping to when you try to go and the solenoid is clicking in and out?

will run load test tomorrow etc Note the batteries are going on 6 yrs old hope your right will let you know.

I'll take that bet.
If it's an IQ, the solenoid won't cycle on and off rapidly like that. The controller won't allow it. Since the controller controls the solenoid coil, it would either work correctly or not at all. It wouldn't chatter. Low voltage would shut down the controller completely and it wouldn't do anything at all. |
