Upgrade 1998 Club Car to Solid state
I have a 1998 Club Car with the resistor coils and would like to upgrade to a solid state. I know that carts unlimited sells some kids and would like to know if anyone has bought the kit from them. Not sure if doing this I should also just upgrade to a 48v motor. Would just like some feedback before purchasing. We upgraded our EZGO with a new controller and solenoid from carts unlimited and it has been such a better cart.
Thanks |

Look at our new IQ conversion with 10 or 14 hp Admiral motor for this cart in 48v.

Re: Upgrade 1998 Club Car to Solid state
I am getting ready to do the same thing as you. I also have a 98' DS. I have a new frame for mine and did not transfer any of the old worn out electrics. I have been in touch with Scotty B but have not pulled the trigger yet. Finishing up a couple things first. Please post your progress and updates. I know I will be following.

Thanks for the input ScottyB. If I did not want to upgrade to a 48v could I still get the conversion kit minus the motor?
